Summary The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resources department.
Working with a cross-functional work team and under the guidance of the HR Manager, the HR Assistant will be responsible for all HR related administrative and clerical functions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities HR compliance will all HR related forms and spreadsheets Assists with new hire orientations when applicable.
Ensures that the proper new hire paperwork and onboarding is completed and processed in HRIS system.
Ensures that information changes and termination paperwork is completed and processed in HRIS system.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion at all times.
Responsible for Audit, review and coding all H.
R.
-related invoices while liaising with the Finance and Accounting Department to ensure proper breakdowns.
Responsible for performing accurate HR file audits to ensure that all required documents are collected and are maintained inside of employee files.
Provides accurate clerical support duties for the H.
R.
department.
Including departmental filing, answering the phones, emails, mailings, and other miscellaneous duties.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, Job Fairs, Etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills Excellent verbal, written, and oral skills Excellent attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Time management and ability to meet deadlines Problem solving and strategizing capabilities Must be proficient in MAC, MS Office suite, and Google Suite ADP Workforce Now experience a plus Ability in decision-making and problem-solving Good judgement and ability to work well with others as a team and independently.
Must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced HR department.
Qualifications General knowledge of HR practices and procedures a plus.
Highly motivated self-starter, with proven ability to develop creative solutions.
Demonstrated ability to proficiency in MAC operating systems, MS Office software, and Google Suite.
